Ultimate Beachbody Reset

The Ultimate Reset by Beachbody is all about resetting your body to a state your body is meant to operate in. Not only does it make you look and feel great, but it also tastes great!

As of March 28th, I will begin my 21 day Beachbody reset journey! I have allowed myself to eat and drink whatever I want and have coincidentally replaced my muscle with fat. I have tried again and again to start a work out program and have failed.

The one thing that I have succeeded at is the Ultimate Reset when I first did it in October 2017, but then I just slid right back into my old habits because of the holidays. I am not always confident in the way that I look, and I am determined to make a permanent change in my life. I hope that this inspires you to start your journey as well and I hope that you will choose to make me your coach through that process because I would love nothing more than to see you achieve your goals!

I will be documenting each day of the cleanse, and will include my energy levels, hunger, and overall feeling on that day. I have also included pictures before my cleanse, and really before any kind of work out. I started 80 day obsession and quit around day 10 so this is my body with no exercise or dieting:

I am currently 28.4% body fat, 38.34 pounds of fat and 96.66 pounds of muscle. My measurements are (inches):

  • Left bicep: 11
  • Right bicep: 11.5
  • Left thigh: 23
  • Right thigh: 23.5
  • Left calf: 14.25
  • Right calf: 14.5
  • Waist: 28.5
  • Hips: 35.75
  • Rib cage: 29.5
  • Bust: 33.5
  • Butt: 40

After measurements (inches):

  • Left bicep: 10.5
  • Right bicep: 10.5
  • Left thigh: 21.5
  • Right thigh: 21
  • Left calf: 13.75
  • Right calf: 13.5
  • Waist: 26
  • Hips: 34.5
  • Rib cage: 27
  • Bust: 32
  • Butt: 38

Let’s get this party started – am I right?!

Day 1

I am done with day one! I drank my full gallon of water by 4 PM…I guess I was thirsty! Overall my energy was moderate to low. I also got about 5 hours of sleep the night before because the storms kept my dog, and myself, from sleeping, so that probably played a role in my energy level.

I can proudly say I pushed through day one! Everything was fine and dandy until about 7 PM when my body decided it was a good time to release everything in my body – yep, I threw up.

I don’t blame this on the cleanse one bit. This didn’t happen the first time, and I was not nauseous once during the last reset. I recently went to a seminar and was surrounded by 2,000 people for 9 hours a day. We were constantly hugging and throwing out high fives like there was no tomorrow (I loved it!!). I wish I could say I washed my hands more frequently other than in the restroom, but I didn’t, so I think I picked something up there.

Moral of the story: the first day was not bad! I was a little bit hungry but I think it was more of my mind telling me it was time to grab a snack because that’s what I had trained it to think. I resisted those yummy Nutella packs in the kitchen like the plague! Despite my sickness, I plan on going full speed ahead into day 2! Woo!

Day 2

I stuck to the cleanse and I didn’t get sick today, so I’d call it a win! My breakfast wasn’t exactly what I should have had – 4 pieces of small toast and a cup of chicken broth. I started with two pieces of toast but I was still starving. I figured I could handle it, and I don’t plan on going off plan again.

Today was easy, I didn’t feel hungry at any point! I paced my water intake a little more than yesterday as well. Currently, it’s 6:15 PM and I still have about 1/4 of my gallon left. STOP! Chug Time! Lol that’s the song playing internally at this very moment. Overall, day 2 was more successful than day 1, and I am hoping I continue on this upward slope!

Day 3

Day 3 in the books! I had a ton of energy today and wasn’t hungry at all. Might I mention it’s also Friday, and as a 22 year old I was tempted. I went out with a few friends but I brought my gallon jug of water and stuck with it…I didn’t even nibble on the cheese fries! I feel like these posts might get shorter each day, so I may clump week 2 and 3 into their own separate headings rather than 21 headings, haha seems like a bit much.

Day 4, here I come!

Day 4 and 5

I totally thought that I blogged yesterday, but it turns out I didn’t (oops!). Day 4 and 5 were about the same, I had a good amount of energy and was pretty active all day.

Yesterday, I looked at some Southgate model homes with my mom (our favorite builder!) and got a cute little plant for my desk at work! Today was a lot of house work – laundry, food prep, cleaning – you know, the fun stuff! Oddly enough, I do actually enjoy cleaning so it wasn’t so bad despite my sarcastic response above.

Oh! And super fun side note – I ordered business cards! I will include those in an upcoming video of mine so you all can see!

Tomorrow is Monday, so put on that thinking cap and concqure whatever your day brings!

Day 6 and 7

It’s Tuesday and it is also the end of week one! Woo! I feel pretty good, today I caved and had a square of 70% Dark Chocolate. Slip ups are okay as long as you get back on track, and that is what I did. The real key is to not beat yourself up about it, this cleanse is hard and anyone who tells you differently is already a vegan 24/7 or is Super Man/Wonder Woman (all of which are pretty cool).

Anyways, there was a cake today at work for my bosses new baby and that was a challenge as well. But out of all of this, what I am really realizing is I eat whatever I want, whenever I want and that is not doing me any good. I don’t keep a diary of the food I eat throughout the day so I lose track of all of the things I eat in a day. That’s going to change after this cleanse for sure! I will update this blog again at the end of week two, but I will post some new blogs in between now and then! YAY!

Week 2 Recap Video!

Week two had its fair share of highs and lows. I caved and had a few pieced of 70% dark chocolate to curb my sweet cravings and I did get a little hangry 1 or 2 times. But other than that I felt high energy and ready to conquer life. I even went out on Friday night! I only drank water (of course) but I still had a lot of fun and danced my little tooshie off!

Week 3 Recap Video – I’m doneeee!
